Introduction

At Weplex, we recognize the importance of talking about our clients' websites—highlighting features, exploring sections, and reflecting on what makes each site work.

The challenge is that relying on traditional tools—screen recorders, video editors, and external platforms—adds variability and dependency - costs - it slows us down and introduces unnecessary complexity or even arbitrariness in how content is presented.

To solve this, we created the WePlex Studio Canvas: a web-based space where a floating mobile device rotates in mid-air, ready to showcase real websites in action. It’s a clean, flexible way to record and share short videos while we talk through sections, features, and design decisions—live, from inside our own ecosystem.

This tool is already helping us present our work more clearly and naturally. Looking ahead, it opens the door to automation—generating narrated walkthroughs directly from site updates, with no human editing required.
